FELIX ABBOTT

I'm 22 and a recent graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelors of Science in Game Programming. I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies including game development, website design and video editing.

For game programming I specialize in AI, Systems and Tool development but can create an entire game if needed! Some of my favorite games include Hades, Muse Dash and the Fire Emblem Series. The Spyro Trilogy will always hold a special place in my heart since it was one of the first game series I played when I was 3 on the PS1. My favorite genres are rhythm games and strategy games, but I'll play games from any genre, all that matters is that they're fun! I have 4+ years of experience with Unity and started my game dev journey when I was 14 with Gamemaker 1.4.

For website design I have experience with Adobe Portfolio, Squarespace, Wix and Weebly. I focus more on modern minimalist design style and can make anything from a simple portfolio to a whole shop. I've been designing websites since I was 13.

For video editing I can edit a wide variety of styles including gaming edits/montages, music videos, travel videos, youtube style videos and more. I have experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop as well as DaVinci Resolve, Filmora X, Final Cut Pro, Motion and iMovie. I've been filming & editing films since I was a kid.

Outside of those I also enjoy drawing, music production, skateboarding, dancing and language learning in my free time! I'm currently studying Korean, and want to learn Japanese and Chinese in the future. I also want to work on my Spanish, I can understand people pretty well but I have trouble speaking. I also enjoy learning the dances to k-pop songs. My favorite groups are BTS, TXT, Enhypen, and Stray Kids.
